Originally my dream was to be a cartoonist of comics. But life took me through other routes ... For many years I devoted to graphic design. And in my spare time, as a way to combat the stress of the workday, I entertained doing illustrations of "monkeys" (name I gave them my little humorous characters). For decades this type of illustrations remained sleeping on a hard drive. Finally after several months of working with Dreamstime, I decided to adapt these illustrations of my "monkeys", giving... continue reading

Again trying to find new ideas to draw, new emotions to illustrate, new images to submit... When you have more than one thousand images online you have to spenda lot of time to find something new to show. So, you know, for Christmas my choice was... Something old!And now again.Traditional media, with a little help from my new Wacom Cintiq graphic tablet, is my job in these days. First watercolors, and now grey pencil! I'm trying to find simple solutions to solve complicate problems.... continue reading

On Dreamstime I've always posted mainly photographs. Till today...Besides photography I want to familiarize myself with the art of making illustrations. The reason why I want to create illustrations, are the unlimited amount of possibilities and imagination you can put into one image. I've tried various techniques to draw and create my images.Draw directly with the wacom tablet and pen.Using programs like Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw to work in direct sketching.Draw by hand on paper "the old fashioned way" and then scan the picture. After dozens of tests ... the best way I found to work in production is:Create your artwork using pencil on paper. Nobody would like to do an advertisement showing that a lady has to sprint across with a basket trolley. But I was so wrong, when I saw that this picture has reached level 4 and downloaded 44 times!!The best way... continue reading
