Textures of the world

Recently, I began to devote more time to photographing the textures that I find during walks. At first glance, there is nothing unusual in these things, but if you look closely, they are quite interesting. I think there is among you who also draw attention to this. In the photo above, the abstraction - created by nature. A little minus temperature and it turns out here is such a beauty. I can transfer only as much as the technical characteristics of my camera allow. This texture of the iron... continue reading

Extreme Macro Photography

This article is describing the technique I'm using to achieve high quality extreme macro photos, for magnifications beyond 3x, up to 10x (possible up to 20x).This means that the subject frame is between 3 and 20 times smaller than the physical sensor dimensions (i.e. 22.2mm for APS-C).This also means that creatures even below a few millimeters in real life, can almost fill the whole screen, revealing amazing, incredible details, unknown to the naked eye! Here are a few examples:... continue reading

New ideas for textures and backgrounds

Hi everyone,I was thinking about some new ideas for backgrounds and textures, but also about images that can easily be incorporated into websites and magazines, and eve commercials. This time I took a more minimalistic approach, even artistic, to create those images.I came up with some interesting pictures of a tuna can from above, some office stuff and some coins. Since I'm still learning my here I have decided to share those ideas and see the reactions to them. I'm all for sharing and learning... continue reading

Crossing 50 images with macro images

Hello guys,How are you?52 images are not much. I know that, but it's a start. Hopefully I will be able to upload more in a short time since I'm aware of the quantity factor here. But... I really enjoy macro shooting and therefore uploaded some image of pushpins... continue reading

Texture of paint.

The texture of the paint is always interesting and attractive. On this photo, the wall texture of the blue paint has a small addition in the upper right corner, while others have a noticeable color. This adds even more beauty to this photo. Paint in our lives - that's what's most important. The more of them - the brighter our life! continue reading

The rule of thirds, seen by a french guy

You already know about theese three components that are opening, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity. But it's othing without composition? The composition is actually how you arrange the elements of the scene being shot. Including moving yourself or moving objects.
