Total relaxation

I may very well be lazy. Probably I am. My ears keep hearing silent screams: Get out out of the brick jungle!

So i do! i finally do get out.

It is Saturday afternoon. It feels chilly. I suddenly realize i am not prepared. I rush back, fetch a backpack, overfill it with clothing and.. boom out the door into my personal old, rusty 4x4. The only intermediate stop before me and freedom is a remote gas station. I decide to also buy some snack and then i hurry to the forest.

That is my real first stop. I sit by the river, near a hazelnut tree and then i start cracking hazelnuts open.

I spend about an hour smashin' and crackin' like some stoneage savage. I start feeling relaxed. They say food makes people happy. It certainly helps one stretch his muscles.

Then i get back in the car and up on the mountain i go. Clouds are gathering fast. By the time i exit the forest, rain starts. I stop the car engine near a rock and listen for a moment. It almost gets mystical.

I start pondering what i should do next.

I definetely want MORE! So i push my luck and manage to get near the top. Fresh green grass, a lonely mountain dirt road and the mysterious mist.

At least the rain stopped. I spend a few minutes here and recharge my batteries.

I take another look at the track heading home and start descending.

And my camera helps me remember it all.

That's one of the best parts about photography to me. Getting out there and relaxing and shooting "life." Taking pleasure in the process. Thanks for writing. Cheers!
