Trek to Langtang

The trekking to the Langtang valley is one of the popular classic treks in Nepal. Langtang lies about 130 km north of the Kathmandu Valley close to the border with Tibet, China and is the closet place where one could get the massive snow capped mountains and beautiful glaciers.Just around 7-8 hours drive from katmandu, you reach the starting point of the trekking, i.e. Syabrubensi.It is Nepal’s first national park, and lies between the Himalayan range to the north, dominated by Langtang Lirung 7246m,Gang Chhenpo

6388m,Naya Kangri 5846m,Dorje Lakpa 6966m.Tsergo Ri is one of the peaks in langtang region with a height of 5024 m. (16,428 ft.).It is an excellent trek for those who want to experience the stunning change from the lowland hills to high alpine terrain, and view a dramatic 360 degree panorama of the Langtang valley from a high summit.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01:Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1400m, 7/8 hours driving) and then overnight at the Lodge.

Day 02: Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel (2748m, 6/7 hours walking)and then over night at the Lodge.

Day 03: Trek to Langtang village (3500m, 5/6 hours walking) and then over night at Lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Kyagjin Gompa (3800m, 4hours walking) and then overnight at the Lodge.

Day 05: Rest day in Kyangjin Gompa. This day we have many choices.It is depends on our wish we can go for

Kyanjing Ri Hiking.

Tsergo Ri(Cherko Ri hiking).

Explore the Langshisa kharka or glacier

Day 06: Trek to Lama Hotel (2784m, 6/7 hour walking) and then overnight at the Lodge.

Day 07:Back to Syabru Besi(1400m, 6/7hours walking)and then overnight at the Lodge.

Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu (7/8 hours driving) by local bus and then overnight at the selected Hotel.
