Trip to Transfagarasan

Few days ago i decided to visit a beautiful place in Romania. It is called Transfagarasan and it is almost unique in Europe. The final point of the trip was the Balea Lake, located in Fagarasi Mountains at about 2050 m altitude.

Before entering the Transfagarasan road, you can visit a beautiful monastery in Arges, which is full of legends. One of them is the legend of Ana, who was builded inside a wall of that monastery because her husband Manole, couldn't build the monastery without her help.

You should see it in real! I'm not so good in telling stories and legends! :)

@Robertosch No chance! :) Think that cloud was over me and over the entire lake as a heavy fog. You couldn't see at 10 m... you can't do a thing in Lightroom or other software. If you can shoot a building or a landscape in a heavy fog, then you can remove the fog and see everything perfect... i would like to see the result! But i'm sure you can't do that! :) Thanks all for the comments! I invite you to Romania to visit those places!

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful photos!

Congratulations, great images....

Try Lightroom, it's a photo editor, you can edit completely every photo, remove clouds, remove noise and stuff. I use this program very offen, and I found it very useful. Good luck.

I couldn't stay more than 15 min. I've got the perfect moment to shoot, because that white cloud you see... it came very fast across the mountains... You couldn't see at 10 m in front of you. I consinder myself lucky for that shot! :)

Thanks for your comments! Wish you all the best!

Yep, it is. Try this link, you will find great foothpaths. I was there and I have great memories too.

I was there too! :) You should go up and climb the Fagaras mountains! They are really wonderful, but also hard to climb :)

I was there, and I know that is awesome. Congrats for the great pictures and thanks for sharing. Wish you great sales.
