Twas the Night Before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas and all through Dreamstime,
Everything was quiet, as though someone stopped time.
My recent uploads sit waiting for careful review,
In hopes that by New Year they'll be the first you can view.
And I a contributor, nestled all snug in my bed,
Have visions of promise dancing in my head.
Uploads, and downloads, even more sales perchance.
New Years dreams such as this, I do romance.
When out on the rooftop arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Out to the yard, I ran like the wind,
Bare, foot and all, to see what flew in.
Oh, the moon shone bright and with the new-fallen snow,
Wished I'd brought my camera…yah, y'know.
When, what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But a Dreamstime-elf sporting camera gear.
Wearing a bunch of lenses and a tripod to boot,
He told me the New Year would bring me big loot.
More rapid than bullets, his forecasts they came,
and as he whistled and shouted, the future he proclaimed!
"More approvals! Less Rejections! More uploads and sales!
Less subs! More Credits! More W...and P-E-Ls!
Who knows? Maybe an SR-EL will be bought!
Now upload-away! Upload-away! Upload a lot!"
As water drips, from icycles that melt.
Tears fell from my eyes with the joy that I felt.
Renewed and invigoured, my stock-spirit rose,
My blood flowing hot and warming my frozen, bare-ass and toes.
I'm ready for action. I'm ready to shoot!
Ready to upload, ready for loot!
And then Dream-Elf nodded and bid a silent farewell,
"Must go to the next contributors house, I have others to tell".
But I heard him exclaim, 'ere he flew out of sight,
"May your sales multiply, and your RPD take flight!
…and next time, put some underwear on…ugh."
Have a happy, silly, productive, prosperous and most importantly...
Merry Christmas and New Year everyone!
