I have seen the topic of views and sales discusssed here before. For me it seems that high views equals sales. Out of my top 40 images in terms of views, only 9 do not have any sales.

I'll add that my editorial photos lead for views. My pics of Hurricane Irene damage are my most viewed.
Yes, Egometza, maybe DT should give us 1 cent for every single view ... That would be great :)
Views should count to get money, don't you think?.
For me it is also true. Among my 20 most viewed photos only 3 didn't sell. 18 of my most viewed photos are editorials, but still they were bought.
My impression is that editorials are viewed more often, even if it does not bring any sales. Probably, such pictures are just attractive to look at and not always to buy:)
I'd say yes. The more views the more sales. Although you have to consider some people are viewing who are not buyers. I can market an image on Twitter or Facebook and get more views but not necessarily get more sales.Just a quick look at my top twenty most viewed images - Views 244+Sales of these images (including repeats) 13Here are a couple in the top 20 views but no sales (yet):[imgl]20282273[/imgl][imgl]20970065[/imgl]
Doesn't work for me; 90% of my most viewed images have no sales. I usually sale what I expect less!
I really don't know what to say regarding the relation between views and sales, specially for the photos that haven't sales, but have a lot of views. I think that Ewapix may have a point. We will see ...
How interesting! I always thought that if there are lots of views and no sales that means that the designers are looking for something similar, but my image is not right, is lacking something, perhaps it is not perfect technically. I always thought it means I must try do better. But you really mean a lot of views! You see, I thought that about 200 views and no sales is a lot :-)
This is one of my oldest photos - I tried to make the bunch of carrots look like an olympic torch, like a concept of winning, of a winning harvest. But perhaps carrots and sport don't go together so well after all :-) Ewapix
