War - something that we need to face! - Dreamstime

War it`s a sad think that we have to face every day! Most of the time it`s caused by something stupid and brings people to hate each other and to fight without knowing the real cause.

If we take a look at the biggest war in our days we see that it began with a small ( big? ) reason

After that it came the invasion

Everyone going there thinks it would be easy, take what you need and get back home. But there are people hurt, killed, mutilated! Even the soldiers that are sent there are sometimes killed

But they try to keep up their head and to pay attention to everything that surrounds them. They try to serve their country!

And then everybody begin to think that the people that they have just invaded are not that evil and bad, and that they have they`re own life, places, religion, believes. And they think that they can help those hand that beg for help, for food, for water ...

And in the end all that remains is peace and a hope that nothing like this will happen again

Yes its one of the worst things that a country can face. Like you said it gets triggered off with some simple and frivilous reason and escalates into something huge on which both sides have no control. Take the instance of the begining of WW -1 and WW-2.
And think of the number of innocent people that were killed/maimed/scared in WW-2
That is why the head of the state (any state) should be some one very mature and wise and should not think of petty political gains.
Let us hope and pray that we don't have a WW-3 (one can imagine the catastrophic proportions of damage with the nuclear weapons)
You have a lovely collection of soldier related pictures here.

Wouldn't it be great if there were no more wars, we shared our food etc with anyone that needed it, we didn't ruin the planet for coal, oil, or any other outdated fuel source and we could all work together to create a world that lived sustainably, peacefully and cooperatively. All it would take to do this, is for the number of people that want this to happen to stand up and be counted. Apathy will kill our planet faster than anything else will.

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke) (1729 - 1797)

AGREE!!! We, Belarusians, have 2 conditions to survive - good potato and NO WAR!!! Death is not so horrible, many of these young guys can die of accidents, criminals, drugs, life is life. But to die for some stupid ideology - it is ugly. I wish long and happy life to all soldiers in world, even to undisciplined:)

Thank you for your words!
No Maen, I`m not a soldier! Even thought I use to make 2 years in a military high school, till they kick me out for indiscipline! :)
I was just on a trip in Tajikistan and I cross the border to Afghanistan for some time :)
I would do it again, but this time with a thing in mind : to show the people how evil is every war...let`s hope everybody will think twice before they will approve any kind of aggression!

It's time for the whole world to realize that the real combat should be to save our planet, unfortunately wars are facts & the bloodshed is endless!
Those who causes these wars should be sent to wars themselves!
Well done shots!
Just for my curiosity, are you in the line of duty?!

Yes, there is no such thing as a small war, an easy war. If you go to war you and your country also face terrible consequences, not only the country which is invaded. War has to be a last possible solution to any disagreement. Unfortunately too many leaders of the world order war too easily and give the order in the comfort of their House.
