Welcome to the desert

Hi everybody,

Since I can't take too many days off from my working place, and if you remember I posted here some blogs regarding my Africa trip, I now continue travelling my country which I love like hell - Israel.

My lsat trip was in the Negev which is the desert of israel, it's not too populated and a very special and unique place to travel in. This time of the year (between spring and summer) it's not too hot during the days and not too cold suring the nights to enjoy what the desert has to offer.

In the negev desert you can found special scenery like craters.

This image presents the "Ramon Crater":

When we reached this lookout we had a surprise, a courios ibex mother and two offsprings:

During our trip we also did a short walk in "Ein Saharonim" which is a dry river:

That's it for now, hope you enjoyed it.

My tip to you - travel travel travel... :)

Hi Ami, Great images, love the shot of the ibex family.

Hello Ami. beautiful pictures you lucky dog. Enjoy your travels and thanks for sharing the pictures. Peter

WOW, I really like your photos - I would love to go to Israel sometime - I would especially love to visit Jerusalem. I have watched a video series called "That the World May Know." In this series, (it's for sale online here) an archeaologist / historian named Ray VanderLaan takes tour groups around Israel and explains the Jewish cultural background to different Biblical events. I really learn a LOT from watching it. Your pictures remind me a lot of the series.

Thank you all, Carolyne, NZ is indeed too pretty to be true, It;s like travelling within a postcard... I wish I had more time to travel it... :)

Love your work! Especially your collection of New Zealand photos. Just goes to show that you don't have to travel the world to find interesting subjects. There is a world of great subjects just outside your back door! I think I need to travel a bit more around my own country (New Zealand) :0)

Great shots!

Thank you all! :) good luck to you too.
thanks Asyan, I hope I'll have some time soon wo write a blog about the tank photos as well.
