what do you guys think are selling the most these days?
fashion and beauty is really slow sellers...
we are about to expand our interior and architectural collections. looks like they sell best in many libraries? any thoughts?

What sells best these days? You will probably get a hundred different reply from a hundred folks here.
For me, quality landscape photos sells best, especially my tropical island images for Hawaii. I am selling 10-20 these images per day, for the last few days. I do hope this trend continues :-)
I also agree with Kikkerdirk'a comment, and think you tend to crop too tight on some images. While this might be a good habit from artistic point of view, this limit the sales potential for stock images.

Hello friends,
looks like high end interiors are very popular with buyers, especially kitchens, at least that is what we have found looking at overall sales in the different collections we have. Considering this we have actually dropped our shooting rates for a period of time and doing 2-3 luxury homes a week, the discount in return for stock rights.

You have some really nice images, but I think that sometimes your crop is to tight and you should leave some extra room for copy space. I think that your images would sell better if you did it that way. The best sellers are the images buyers want. Try to think like them. Make images with beautiful lighting, give room for copy space when possible and give them the opportunity to make their own crop.

i guess if your artwork or image is unique and wanted you have a hit :)

There is no saying what sells.
Some times simple ideas sell faster and quicker than what we presume.
Came across someone who has a upload to download ratio of 1:2
He has uploaded only one pic and its already sold twice.
