Why I hope RIPD is a blockbuster movie this summer

A couple years ago - yes YEARS! - I happened to be walking around Boston with my family enjoying a the fall weather when we came upon a movie being filmed. I snapped a few shots before getting pulled away by my family (there wasn't a lot of action going on at least in their opinion - I would have stayed for hours).

I uploaded these shots in October of 2011! One of these became my all time bestseller as and editorial shot. Now with the movie, R.I.P.D. finally being released this summer I hope to get some more sales of these images. Hope its a blockbuster and future classic!

Peter M. Lenkov (seated) producer and writer of the upcoming Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds graphic novel movie R.I.P.D. about zombie police set to be released in 2013, filming in downtown Boston on Oct. 15, 2011. Directed by Robert Schwentke. Starring: Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Bacon, Stephanie Szostak, Mary-Louise Parker, Marisa Miller, Mike OMalley, James Hong, Robert Knepper.

Rather cool - went to see the new Star Trek movie (excellent) and saw the trailer for RIPD - actually looked better than I thought it might be, kind had a Men in Black vibe - saw some scenes with the smashed yellow car in Boston.

You were at the right place at the right moment. I hope you'll get more sales with these pictures and your story tells me how much more I should pay attention to my surroundings when I go out.

Great to know you have grabbed the making of. For sure you will have lots more sales!

Cool shots!Wish you planty sale of them!:)

Good Luck !

Works better in the city of course! Aimlessly wandering around my neighborhood here in the sticks only results in a groundhog or maybe a cow.

I love 'came across it by accident while i was out' shots.
wish i could wander about the world aimlessly daily looking for them. lol. hope the movie publicity helps you in the summer!

Lucky you... Great experience.

Thanks Clearvista!

Great shots. Pays to always have a camera with you for times like this. Hope the film does well for your sales.
