Wow..What a drop !!!

My sales are zero from 08/05/2011.I had 2 sales from the start of the month: 1 sub and 1 credit. With 202 photos online you will think that sales are becoming steady but in fact i guess my photos are useless for stock. The bad thing is that i don't know what to do next.Im run out of ideas.Any advices?

Ive found image sales can be very irregular, month to month. Last month I had 10 sales from my small portfolio, but so far this month Ive only had one. You have an incredible range to your portfolio, from people to scenics to products to creative illustrations. I wish I had your variety! It will pick up as we get closer to the holidays. My one suggestion would be to put more keywords for your images. Good luck!

Yes! I can repeat this literally word-to-word... I also share much of your frustration and concerns, but I still think (hope) we've been simply unlucky this summer, and things will get better in the busier autumn. The other advices, of revising your keywords and adding more, of uploading more diverse themes/subjects and... not least being patient and hopeful - are all rightful and, note, they are supportive! :)

I like your portfolio, so many amazing images that stand out. Like some said, sales can be erratic from month to month. Good idea to re-look at your keywords in the meanwhile. Or you could also expand more on editorial images. Best of luck! :)

I was wondering about the same thing. Forgot about the summer holidays in the Northern Hemisphere. Your images look good, so best of luck as you come out of summer.

Things always slow down in summer. Last month was not a good one for me either. This month is looking better, but I understand your frustration. You do have a lot of variety in your portfolio, so keep uploading and participating here. Soon people will come back from vacation and get back to buying from us! :)

There is nothing wrong with your portfolio other than you need more diversity of subjects to increase your sales. You have a lot of pictures of the same subject so this will limit your sales unless someone is looking for that particular subject. Your number of downloads is about the same as mine were when I had the same number of images on-line so it looks like you are right on track.

Good luck.

I like your way of shooting, you just have to wait to get more visibility, participating in blogs, commenting on the images of others, in short, to participate actively in Dreamstime! I saw your portfolio, you really have some good ideas and well produced, your images are then varied, this is very important! I hope I was useful, a greeting!
Fabio.

Same here. I'm just new for 2 months but I had nice sales every other day with less images online than I have now. But since about 1,5 week nothing at all. I think it's the holiday season. At least I hope it is!
