URGENT - Apricot Pits on a plate with Rustic Table

If anyone can help me here I'd really appreciate it. I need an image urgently like this one:

I only require the plate of pits (taken from above) with a similar feel.

Please let me know if anyone has one similar or can produce one.

These aren't mine, but they might suit your needs. If they don't, could you provide feedback as to what you like and don't like about them? That will help if someone produces one:

Thanks for the reply.

None of the images are really what I'm looking for - I do like the feel of the first one but I don't really want any apricot fruit in the picture, just the stones in a setting rather than on a white background.

Hope this feedback is helpful

Thanks, that does help. From the picture you mentioned, I thought you wanted both the fruit and the pits. I notice that image also has a nutcracker; is this something you want?

About how many pits are you wanting? Do they have to be from apricots, or will other pits (or even nuts) meet your needs? The more details you can give us as to what you need (and what doesn't matter one way or the other) will definitely help. Also, what is your timeline on this?

Nutcrackers as props will be fine, yes. It has to be apricot pits though, maybe some intact and some shelled kernels. Amount to be a similar amount to those in the example that are on the white plate.

Aspect in landscape preferred and taken from the above position, scene focus quite compact.

As for time frame, as soon as is possible, I'm not sure what the limitations are and approval times for images? Do requested images go through the same process? I'm only familiar with illustration approvals.

Thanks again for your help :)

It seems that apricots are far enough out of season here that I am not able to find any for sale. :-/

If they were available, I could take the images and request a priority review which would speed up the review time.

Sorry that I can't help more. Perhaps another photographer will have better luck finding apricots (or rather, apricot pits) this time of the year than I did.

Good luck!

After giving up on shooting this, I decided to give the database one more search. Have you seen these images? They don't have a plate and they are not from above, but they do have the apricot pits/stones on a rustic looking table.

Yes, I've seen those... they are lovely images but the colour of the pits aren't 'straight from the fruit'. The usage is for a monthly specials flyer for products which include bags of pits. I want the image to replace poor quality product images.

I do really appreciate your efforts to help me though, thank you very much :)

I'll rethink my image concepts - I did ask permission from the owner of the example image but as yet I've had no response.

Thanks again!

I've learned something new. I didn't know that the kernels inside apricot pits were edible. We had an apricot tree in our backyard when I was a child, and I ate lots of apricots during the summer months back then. Your post has brought back some fun memories.

They're extremely good for you I believe, I haven't tried them myself... they're bitter I think though - and expensive (esp in the UK)! Its always fun having fruit trees... we had an old apple tree when I was a child! Fruit just isn't the same when you haven't got to worry about there being a grub enjoying it too! lol

I don't have any picture for you, but I would like to share a memory.
When I was a kid my grandmother used to make apricot jam and she was also adding pits. More pits in the jar, happier I was (because I was eating them all in one day). She just passed away at 99. She was the best granny any child can have.

Tomatika, I'm sorry about your loss, it sounds like you have some great memories.

Achilles, those are great! (not the green background ones so much for my needs but the wooden ones) Thank you very much :) let me know when they are available and I'll definitely be grabbing them.

@Inspiredinstinct: they should be all live now. The green ones were just for the fun, I admit the wooden background is better.
