I didn't understand what you wanted to say. Can you express again your thought?

" Can you express again your thought? "

Don't let it get you down/upset you. I think anyone submitting to an assignment should see it a little as a lottery as the normal DT requirements for acceptance go out of the window and a becomes more of a subjective matter. It used to really bug me and I vowed not to participate in anymore but after winning the last one I feel a new found vigor and admiration for the assignments. Keep at it and don't give up :)

@Libux77 hey don't feel discouraged. You've a lot of fantastic images in your portfolio and you'll definitely make it to the future assignments. wish I had one third of your skills to produce such outstanding images. :)

When I first started doing assignments I was rejected harshly and frequently. You can still upload the images as regular stock, they're usually accepted that way so it's not always a complete loss.

Honestly, though, I don't think a lot of sales will come from this batch, the theme is a bit out there. There aren't that many submissions either, I suspect it was a difficult subject.

Regardless, I learned a few photo editing tricks from trying this one, it just made me a better artist and commercial photographer all around. :-)

@Libux77: This is my first time trying to get accepted for an assignment. Two attempts. Both rejected. But, this assignment pushed me into territory I don't usually go to. As a result, I learned a few new things. Let's keep trying. We'll get there!

We're still here, safe and sound and since we "survived" the Mayan end of the world, let's see whose imaginary apocalypses were most voted for:

First place goes to Inga Nielsen for our favorite end of the world under a meteorite shower:
   Apocalypse

Second place goes to Eti Swinford for a post-apocalypse glimpse of New York:
   Apocalypse New York

Third place goes to Dreamerve for an apocalypse survivor. So there is still some hope:
   Survivor

Congratulations to the winners and to all participants! No other end of the world is predicted in the near future so see you all at the next assignment.
