Links from Google ?

Hi - I am new to Dreamstime, my question is this: When I search Google for clip art - my image shows up - but when I click on it to go to the site, I am taken to Dreamstime's "Abstract Stock Imagery and Photos" page instead of to the page with my art on it. Could anyone tell me why this is happening? Other images on Dreamstime seem to link directly to the page with that particular artwork.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Maybe the photo is the one that you have on the abstract stock imagery page? I'm sure there would be another version of your photo somewhere in the results which would lead to your original image page.

Look at it this way:
I uploaded a butterfly photo.
I used it in an article I wrote on DT blogs section.
It was automatically in DT's nature photos section.

Now the Google image search would come up with three search results. Maybe more (for Italian and French sites and all that stuff). So what you found is probably just one results out of the three. The main one should be there somewhere too. Maybe even on page 100. :/

Hi Tbuddsy, a lot depends also, on when those Google search trawlers make their way around the site, and for that matter the internet. The algorithms that Google use catalogue results and images, so that searches can be returned almost instantly, which makes perfect sense to their servers, but may not make perfect sense to yourself. Sometimes, very rarely, google image search will get it wrong, I have a view of New York, that is very similiar to another photographers image, (obviously taken from the same viewpoint) and that is displayed as one of my images. I hope Ive not confused you...
