FTP upload speed too slow or direct upload the same

Trying to upload some pictures but FTP speed is too low. It will take 6 days to upload at 24-40 KB/s

Same thing with online direct upload.

Problem reported too by others friends users from here when i asked about this.

If u can check will be ok.

PS: Also the connection to FTP take long time

ok, since there's been no answer, let me ask the others around here: what is your upload with Dreamstime FTP speed?
mine is around 50KBps(the overall speed is about 250/300 KBps so the FTP should go higher - i'm using UPC in RO). I'm trying to figure out if this is a localized issue or something imposed by Dreamstime servers.

If you do a speed test, generally upload speed is a fraction of download speed. Might be worrth doing this and compare with the ftp speeds you're seeing.

apologies, i didn't make it clear that i was referring to the overall upload speed:

download: 9625 KBps
upload: 781 KBps

so Dreamstime is limiting me to ~50KBps. Does anyone else experience this?

ok, i think i figured this out and i'm sharing the info just in case someone else will need this:

I was using total commander's ftp tool for a long time and it appears it doesn't get along with dreamstime, as my uploads to the server is limited to ~50KBps. However, uploads to other ftp servers are not limited and I get full speed. Weird, I know.

Uploading with dreamstime's upload tool, i got full speed.
Switching to winscp(free ftp tool), i also got full speed.

To make a long story short, try another ftp tool for your uploads :)

Upload time can be very variable, depending on DT servers load and internet congestion....

I've found a very handy tools that allows you to select images, decide where to upload to and leave the thing uploading during lunchtime or overnight; works in the background so when one agency is complete you can finalize submission there while Easy Stock is uploading the rest....

Even if you have a slow connection like me you can set your uploads and forget about it till it's done.

You can see a complete it works at this address:
