We're currently updating the levels and royalties as announced. The update should be completely done in a matter of hours throughout the entire site.
Image price is already updated on the image details page, so downloads are now performed at the new levels structure. Royalties for subscriptions have also been updated for all packages acquired after 1 Nov.
Thanks Dreamstime, for monitoring the various factors of the microstock equation. I always thought as more images come online, the sheer numbers start to reduce the chances of being found get reduced. (like a web search that returns 300,000 sites... you don't have time to go through even the first 100 pages) And with fewer search hits, statistically, fewer sales. It seemed like a sad fact of inevitable lower sales. But, Dreamstime adjusts the equation to help keep things balanced...
It reminds me of oganic chemistry in school... if you add X to the equation, you did Y to balance the equation.... The only difference is, I don't have nightmares about having a Dreamstime final exam I forgot to study for!
Thanks for the attention to the complex equations!

hmm...I had eight sales of 0.25 cents each between Nov 1 - 3 (one image with over 43 downloads). Am I missing something here?
When is the new pricing structure and the DL-levels going to be in effect for the Submitters? As far as I understood this, there should not be anymore 0.25 cents sales, as well as a better pay for images with higher DL's right after Nov. 1st?
maybe all of those were old sales, I don't know.maybe someone can explain this to me.
i think the stucture change for the level of the picture, not for the submission.
If the buyer have bought a package deal ait means he can buy picture for 25 or 30 cents till is package deal is over...So don't be surprise, if you will have some more. You were just not lucky to have many in few time...
Hi there, I have several images in my portfolio with 10 sales. Under the image you can see the "level 2" icon, but when you click the image it still says 1 credit for small version instead of 2 credits. Am I not looking good?
