I came to photography rather late in life after a 50+ year career as the Administrative Assistant for a large Orthodontic practice in Phoenix, Arizona. Photography gets me out and about and gives me the opportunity to travel and see parts of this great country that otherwise I would not get to enjoy. Plus, there is so much to learn!! No time for the brain to stagnate! My passion is wildlife and I have photographed, among many others: Grizzlies and black Bears in Yellowstone, Bison in the Grand Tetons and at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Moose and Pronghorn in the Grand Tetons and Alaska, Katmai Brown Bears fishing for salmon at Brooks Falls, Alaska, Dall Sheep in Alaska, and Raptors in flight in many places. We must teach our children to love all wildlife so that they will take care it after we are gone. Perhaps a child will fall in love with one of the baby bears or pronghorn or bison that I have photographed and be inspired to do all that he/she can to preserve the species. I live quietly in Phoenix with my “fur children”.
