Aletsch Glacier is the longest in the European Alps. 23km in length, is located in the Bernese Alps. Its source are the most imposing peaks of the region, among which Jungfrau, Eiger and Moench. Eiger (3970m) and Moench (4107m) are visible in the background as well as Aletschhorn (4193m) on the left side - the highest peak in the group. Wide angle image taken in middle September 2010.
