Gamcheon-dong is a mountain town stacked in layers along the mountain ridge in Busan, South Korea. This poor village became famous when it started to be called the ‘Machu Picchu” of Asia because of the murals painted by young artists on the external walls of the buildings, fascinated as they were by the landscapes of this area. A number of photographers visit here to take pictures of this village, where citizens’ daily life and art are in harmony.
