The Hammond Covered bridge spans Otter Creek in Pittford, Vermont and 139 foot Town lattice truss wooden bridge. Built in 1842 by Asa Nourse. During the 1927 flood the bridge floated off its abutments and ended up in a field over a mile down stream. During the winter of 1927-28 the town returned the bridge to its former location.
