The Preah Khan temple was constructed in the style of bayon in the late 12th century by the king Jayavarman VII; more than a temple it was probably a Buddhist university; the walls and pilliars are decorated with religious and mythological figures; in this picture the roots of an old silk-cotton tree over a wall.
