I recently spent 3 weeks in the jungle of Sepilok and my whole stay revolved around spending a morning and an afternoon with the wild, free, exceptionally funny and sometimes rehabilitated orangutans swung their way onto the feeding platform of the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation centre. I had no desire to see or do anything else! These amazing beautiful animals are wonderfully funny, incredibly sensitive , very intelligent and exceptionally naughty! How anyone can keep these magnificent creatures caged and use them to entertain tourists is beyond me. Photograph of this wildly funny orangutan taken from approximately 25 metres away using a very good zoom lens and a steady hand at the feeding platform where the wild and rehabilitated orangutans come in to grab some fruit and vegetables, in the stunning jungle of Sepilok, Sabah, Borneo in Malaysia.
