Eter and Paul Fortress - Fortress in St. Petersburg, located on the island faint. It is a historical core of the city, originally a fortress called Saint Peter Burh, set 16 (27) May 1703 on a plan of Peter I: 6 bastions connected curtain, 2 ravelin, Kronverk originally tree-earth, 30 - 40's and 80 -ies. XVIII century dressed stone. The island is connected to the Petrograd side in 1703 Ioannovskim bridge.
