Rockchucks (Marmota flaviventris), otherwise known as Yellow-bellied Marmots, are closely related to woodchucks (groundhogs), prairie dogs, and hoary marmots. Rockchucks are common in Central Oregon where ever there are exposed rock embankments and mounds. This one's home is under the parkway in Bend, Oregon.
