Among the most prominent peaks in the Central Oregon Cascades are the Three Sisters. The peak on the left is Middle Sister (Hope, elev. 10,047 ft.) To the right is North Sister (Faith, elev. 10,085 ft.) Both are dormant volcanoes 30 miles west of Bend, Oregon (elev. 3,629 ft.) South Sister (Charity) is 3 miles to the south. This photo was taken November 16th, 2008, across the Tumalo Reservoir basin northwest of Bend, Oregon.
