Kansas city based artist, the Artisan Rogue, started down a road of photography based interest at first as a technical effort to build his own image reference library. It wasn't until some of his earliest subject, be they buildings, cars, personal items, showed they too could age monumentally and irrevocably almost when no one was looking. Inspired to try and capture the fall of behemoth old warehouses, the slow fading of aging homes, and the societal decay of man made items and structures in general, he opted to celebrate them one last time for others to see. Everyday, physical history in many forms is found and saved, but much more is left to crumble, to be forgotten, and for a beautiful moment in time wrapped in sadness and forlorn solitude, these bits of history exist, blossom one last time, and then either violently are mechanically erased, or fade into oblivion.
