So, how was your May?

Mine was terrible. Revenue: worst in 10 months, sales: worst in 20 months.

Very strange, because sales, revenue and RPD were rising every month and it's not a real "holiday month" as July, August or December.

How was yours?

BME here. 30 % higher revenue and 20 % higher RPD than previous BME.

I figured out BME but what does RPD refer to here?
Posted: 06/03/2012, 12:05:32 PM
Revenue per download. Your "RPD" is displayed on your statistics page. It's simply your total monthly revenue divided by your months number of sales giving you an average sale price per image sold = RPD. Hope it makes sense.

Mixed ... this month and last my sales were half of what they have been averaging for the past two years. This month my revenue was average and last month 2nd BME. My sales are in the toilet!

Extremely bad month. Only a few sales. Only thanks to 1 PL sale the revenue I earned was OK, but without that, i'm afraid this may had been one of the worst month ever. Just sad. I wonder why it happens. Could it be that because DT site is often down and/or extremely slow, some buyers have left the site.... just a guess.

Worst month in the last 12 months and maybe more. Following the level change and the modifications of the search methods my sales droped dramatically. They have improved the last weeks of May, but I'll have to wait and see a little more...

My new images do not seem to sale at the same rate as they used to.

Indeed, the level change increased the revenue per download, but the number of downloads is much lower.

I'll wait another month, but overall I think the level and search changes in May did not do great for my portfolio's performance.
