Problems with Facebook integration?

I've already fired an email to support about this, and as yet they can't see any issues, but does anybody else have problems with the Facebook posting plug-in on the Social Networking page?

For me, it rarely actually loads on the page, and when it does it's very slow, and once I've clicked on 'post', the post never actually appears on FB. Twitter works fine though!

Does anyone else have this trouble? It would be useful to know as then I can say it's a genuine issue, and not just local to my machine! I'm using Mac OSX 10.6.8, with Safari - tested in Firefox also, and getting same issues.

I have days where it's not working so good but all is fine at the moment. It appears to have gone through an upgrade/change recently so maybe there's a delay on it all be rolled out/updated across all platforms?

I can't find my updates on my facebook page but I get likes on the posts so I know others are seeing it.

I stopped using the tool, I post the link directly in Facebook, it allways works and it embeds your referral number, so if somebody comes from there you might receive a little extra.

Here is an example.

https://www.dreamstime.com/-rimageXX-resi35887, you change the xx for your image id and the number 35887 for your number, unless you want me to receive the extra money, I wouldnt complain, hehe...

A link like that would show my image of Venice
   Venice Canal at Night Italy

It works fine, I just dont like that the thumb is so small.

Well, at least I know it has happened to someone else - so I can let them know when I get my next reply... I can post manually, but I like to post about the recent sales, and if there's a tool to make it easier then I'd like to use that... hopefully there will be a fix soon!

Thanks guys!

The automatic update of picture's sale on FB seems to work nicely. But from time to time it stops for awhile and works again. It might be part of the mystery of the IT world ;)

@Zerodeluxe: I've got the DT fb promotion tool problem for weeks! After I don't know how many e-mails and screenshots I've sent them support couldn't help me so far.

My promotion tool doesn't work either. It never did. First time used this tool was about a month ago. When I logon DT I have a message saying that I have new downloads/uploads/sales (or something similar) to post on FB and to "click here" to update FB. But after I'm on FB I can not see anything from DT on my wall. I don't know if it is because of my FB setting, but I'll check later.

To those of you using Facebook to promote your DT portfolio, does it work? Do you find you are bringing in a noticeable number of additional sales and/or referrals?

I haven't bothered with using FB as a promotional tool, but would reconsider if there was some evidence it works...

@Lisafx: I was really happy with it and it worked for me.... that's why I am so disappointed that it doesn't work anymore :-(. I had to download another browser that I can use it "a little bit". Sometimes it works now, sometimes not....but better than nothing :-)

I've been exchanging emails and screenshots with Admin for a couple weeks on this. When I post new sales, only one sale (most recent) shows on FB without the 'see more' link.

Thanks guys - at least I know the issue isn't just with me! I can state that now when I get any further emails from the DT team!

There is a small number of users who encounter this issue. Unfortunately we have not been able to replicate it yet and is still under investigation. It can also be related to your facebook settings or internet connection but tech team is looking for a solution.

I've taken a look at the Facebook app settings, and I can't see anything amiss there...

I don't believe in the settings as I didn't change anything when the problem started. I also noticed that my name in the fb tool is not highlighted in red (like the Twitter one), i. e., it is not a hyperlink anymore. Anybody else with the same problem?

Facebook continuously changes, every week it brings new features and changes old ones.
As I mentioned, our team is trying to fix this but since it could not be replicated yet it may take a while longer.
Thank you for you patience.

Hello, about the auto-posting feature not working for facebook, this is due to the fact that Facebook has recently made some changes to its platform.
We made some fixes to better fit in with the Facebook platform.

All photographers who would like to have their sales/downloads/etc. posted to their facebook timeline, will have to logout of facebook and log in again using our tools from Management Area, respectively to use our login button from Management Area or the same login button from Social Networking.

Looking forward to your feedback.
