Whew! 3 years and 3 months later, I finally made it to 6,000 uploaded images here at Dreamstime. It's been a fun journey creating so many things. This past week, I headed out to a local shopping outlet and took a gazillion more photos, so I look forward to transforming some of those to new illustrations for my portfolio. Every day is a fun adventure! I love what I do! Here is my 6,000th approved uploaded image. Thanks Dreamstime!    Elegant Sphere Stairs Business Charts

We joined at the same time and you have six times the images I have. You also have six times the sales.

Yeah, Winconsinart, I never track the differences between a photographer (you) versus an illustrator (me). But it is interesting to note that you brought up a meaningful statistic: volume is equivalent to sales. My portfolio is six times bigger than yours, and my sales are six times higher. So, that would at least provide one statistic that shows sales for both photographers and illustrators might be the same as it relates to volume. Your volume of images/photos makes a difference. It provides a nice incentive to know that if you build your portfolio, you will have more sales. I'm sure you and I could find people that joined when we did and yet they only have a handful of images approved. It's all about the time and effort you put into it. Some never realize the earnings potential. Many just don't have the time it takes. I am thankful that I am able to do illustration as a full-time job, so I am able to build my library faster than the average person. And since I love drawing, I never get sick or tired of it.

Wow--congratulations. Very well done!! Now I really feel like a slouch, after looking at your portfolio and Wisconsinart's. I also joined around the same time as you guys, but only average around 18 uploads a month. There just aren't enough hours in my day to do more:)
Currently my primary cameras are a Fuji X-Pro2 and a Fuji X-T2.
