Bogdanzagan
Hello, My name is Bogdan and I am a macro photographer. I usually take shots with magnification ratio of 1:4 to 3.6:1.

I like insects so you can see I take the shots of living animals. They are best to photograph early in the morning, at night, when they feed, mate or rest.

If there are more macro photographers here I would like to get in touch, exchanging ideas and thoughts. Criticism is more than welcome!

Nice work. Never tried it myself and always fancied giving it a go :) If you can add in concepts to your images so they are more than just a macro insect shot then sales can get even higher, such as this macro insect shot:

Team of ants work constructing bridge, teamwork

Great portfolio and have fun here, sales will come :)

Thank you very much for the suggestion!

Right now I'm on the gather material stage... after the summer's gone and the critters disappear I will start doing some Photoshop work.

Again, thank you very much for your advice, I appreciate that!

Thank you :)

For me is almost like hunting. I like to watch the critters to see their habits, what they do, when they eat, where they eat, when they mate... it's a lot of fun!

With enough patience you can get very close to them, about 15 cm. At that distance I can diffuse my lights very well and the pictures are better.

I followed your advice and I just started a series of Macro posts. I hope that you like this and you come with questions, as the topics will get deeper and deeper into macro photography from the practical point of view.
