I'M WORKING ON MY WEBSITE (FOR MY PHOTO STUDIO) AND RECENTLY I DOWNLOADED A FEW RF IMAGES. THEY ARE BACKGROUNDS AND ISOLATED FURNITURE. I INCORPORATED THIS IMAGES IN MY OWN PHOTOGRAPHS (I TOOK THIS PHOTOS IN MY STUDIO, WITH MY MODELS). MY QUESTION IS I CAN UPLOAD THIS IMAGES TO MY WEBSITE WHERE THEY GOING TO BE ONLY FOR VIEWING PURPOSES? AND WHAT IF ONE OF MY CLIENTS WANT TO BUY THE FINISHED PHOTOGRAPH? THANK YOU FOR THE RESPONSE ANNAMARIA
If you upload the resulting images on your website which we assume is a photography website, you must provide credit line for the original images and mention their source and author. You cannot claim full copyright for the resulting images as you will have used other authors' elements (backgrounds and pieces of furniture).
The resulting images may also be sold as prints for instance should your clients want to buy them but such usage would require you to download the images under an extended license. Again, you cannot claim full copyright and providing credit line is highly recommended.
Under no circumstance can you re-sell or license the resulting images as your own entire creation.
