How it will look a DSLR in the future?

Hi! How do you think it will look a DSLR in the future?

For me the future is Sony NEX 5R. I enjoy this little camera. The last photos came from it and they are much better than the ones that I took with Nikon D5100.

The main reason is the focus peaking and manual focus assist. Since I work with small DOF it is essential to focus in the right spot. Nikon OVF it's just too small to allow me to such finesse. And their LV implementation is a joke.

All for a 280 grams of camera with battery and card and 120 more grams for a superb Sigma 30mm.

P.S. I have all the controls on dials or shortcuts, no need to enter the menu.
Photography I use Nikon 105mm F2.8G, Nikon 35mm F1.8G, Nikon crop body...

This looks like a slim camera. I dislike small/slim cameras. Maybe because they don't really fit in my hands. But I like heavy cameras. I don't complain while traveling. Because someone who enjoys photography doesn't really cry about carrying a few kilos.

Steady shots, sturdy and big camera. That's it. One cross type sensor is enough for me.
55-250mm standard lenses. Dual tube macro flash and external speedlit...

My photo bag is 10 Kg weight without tripod. Soon I will be 50 years old. I never go out without my photo bag. None of my friends can tell how I look without my slingshot lowepro. Yes, is a 10 kilo slingshot, my right shoulder is in pain 24/24... But I am able to walk with the bag on my back, stop and do a picture in less than 7 seconds :) No joke.

I am aware that some day I will be shoot dead (head shoot) because of this huge bag by some anti-terro forces. But my photos will live forever...

I dream that the future will be full of robots which will work for us and we will not be forced to do stock photography for living. I do this for living. Hard times here.

Your photos will live forever anyway,Alvera, My dear King!:)Don't worry, we at the royal court will be careful not to shoot the antiterrorist forces and if I think about more than 10 kg is not much.....given that you have at least two top advisers at court...:)As well as I do not have to live in this...I was starving so far...:)I do this for passion!Hard times is everywhere now....Until then we read and Canon 7D Mark II and Photograph future is already hereBest regards for you!

DSLR will be no longer on market in 2-3 years. Mirrorless is the future. No mechanical system in the future, only lens, a sensor and electronics. All integrated in our left eye :)

Why not in the right eye??:))

The right eye is for using the old DSLR :)
