Your wedding is something you'll always remember, mainly thanks to photos. Photos are as much a wedding tradition today as the bridal veil or the engagement rings. And if the bride may skip the veil, there surely isn't any W-day without a photographer. Everyone knows photos are a wedding must so we do want your wedding photos, to have and to sell, from this day forward.
We're right in the middle of the wedding season and amidst the dress panic, the invitations and honeymoon hunt, we're looking for those unique, perfect, candid wedding shots that last forever. Being a wedding photographer is hugely demanding so we're letting you decide which moment is THAT moment: the wedding rings exchange, the kiss, the opening dance, the bouquet toss, the vows, the bridesmaids' smiles, the bestman's toast, the walk to the aisle. We also said candid shots so you can go for less classical wedding moments which are spontaneous but still emotional, sometimes amusing and of course timeless: a crowded dance floor, the newly weds making funny faces, an exuberant flower girl stumbling, grandma's discreet tear of joy, wedding crashers. Weddings take place all over the world so you're more than welcome to shoot outside the western white wedding box. We'd love to see something old, something new, something from here, something from there. Ceremonies, traditions and attire are different from region to region so it would be great to have brides in red Indian sarees or in African wrappers, see the hand henna painting ritual or some glass stomping. Wherever they are, weddings are always cause for joy and celebration so make sure this is what your photos show. We're not really interested in decorations or wedding still life. Also bear in mind that there are plenty of wedding stock photos already online so your image should excel in composition, light, quality.
Best tie the knot shots will bring the winners prosperity: $300 (first place), $200 and $100 (runner ups). The winners will also receive Dreamstime branded t-shirts to wear on any occasion, weddings included.
Are editorial photos allowed for the assignment? I have plenty of wedding photos but bride and groom photo has people in the background. Also these people are abroad so it would be tough to get a model release.
Autoreflex TC 35MM camera and various lenses though I rarely shoot fi...
All of your examples include people in the shot and I recall that being a requirement for previous assignments. Are you only accepting images with people or are still life shots of all the other wedding accessories and elements acceptable too?
Update: The current assignment is open for submissions for all contributors, regardless of the number of images they have online. Contributors with less than 50 online images can participate as well for a chance to win the prizes.
This is valid only for this assignment for the time being.
My first submission got outright rejection being what they are not looking for! Alas! but good because now I need to be stronger with concept and would cetainly come out with better! I WILL BE BACK Soon! K!
@ Jordan: Upload the images in your unfinished folder, then access the assignment page from the home page: Submit for assignment Continue your submission from there with the unfinished files you want to send for the assignment. Good luck.

Hey bro.. that surely doesn't look like a wedding image in any angle and more like a portrait
I am really devastated... All my pics were rejected :-( Some with the reason: Poor lighting due to lighting conditions (wrong time of day, dull skies, harsh shadows etc.) and/or camera limitations / Poor contrast or incorrect exposure. With some I fixed the Problem... Is it possible to resubmit such a Picture???? I tried, but it appeared in my pending files as normal RF and not for assignment...

Dieniti, nobody can answer that, you are the only one who can decide whether to resubmit or not. The resubmit process should be the same as the submission. If it doesn't work, you can simply upload the images again and submit them like you did the first time.
Also, please be aware that the Assignments are meant to display only high quality images with a special artistic value, so you should only submit the very best of your best photos.
