Welcome to the community Stefania! :)
I think almost everybody (me included) here start with "what they have", most of the time photos taken while traveling. Those are often very interesting pictures and can also lead to some sales.
I think the best suggestion I can give you is carefully watching other people photos, especially those more "stock oriented"; you will learn a lot even just observing!
And of course, don't stop shooting! You will see sales will come :)
Welcome to the wonderul comunity from DT!Don't stop!Don't give up!Keep uploading and be persevering and patient!Your pictures are beautiful, but here you will learn over time that you can sell anything, even some silly snapshots taken in a supermarket if it is required,if it is looking...I agree with Alerizzo78....."more stock oriented";most popular stock photos ;you will learn and over time you will realize that seeks buyers.Shooting what you love, enjoy and have fun is important. If you're a good editor and have time to process your images will be more successful in sales.Good luck!Sales will come!
hi and welcome!
I know there is 'stock' oriented photos.. and in time you learn to recognize them. but shooting what you love and enjoy is most important and it looks like you do! I sell a lot of editorial.. and one of my most popular shots is our drive way being plowed of snow!!! its hot summer in michigan right now and yet this snow photo is still selling. so keep shooting and uploading and have fun!
Welcome, I am old/new member. Previously I did not have time to dedicate my self to this tool, I was mostly putting photos on www.webshots.com site, which is now closed. Today I have uploaded my first 10 photos after come-back.
Hi, I'm new too - I only have 16 photos in my portfolio at the moment. Your portfolio is great and don't forget if dreamstime didn't think it was good enough to sell it wouldn't have been accepted. So keep shooting and uploading! Have fun :)
