Questions regarding some filter functions

Wgwinews
I have recently tried to upload a few images that were denied for DT.... So I kind of put a few filters on them and got these..... Would such images as shown below be acceptable and would they sell??

I doubt, now it looks overexposed and DT doesn't like that kind of images, but you can try...

@Meli62 Thanks for your reply. Do you know of any sites that will approve images like these? I do a lot of "NEWS" images Fires, Crime Scene, Sports and Weather Spotting. Do those kinds of images sell or is it better to just hold off??

You can't fix mediocre images with filters. Move on to other photos.

Please refrain from asking about other places where to sell your images on our message boards. There are general message boards on the internet where you can ask questions such as this.
300v (film), assorted lenses...

I have a few pictures retouched with the help of filters. For instance a general view of a park in London that now looks like an oil painting.
Are these sort of pictures acceptable?
thank you

Generally no, but in some cases they are. Only way to learn what works is to try them.

Keep in mind that many designers who buy these are often looking for a starting point they can use to build and modify for their book, album, CD, magazine cover from but if you filter your original image right out of existence, there's less for them to work with.
