Hi, I'm Travis

Just wanted to check in and say hi. I got signed up recently after talking to a guy at work who is on here. He keeps encouraging me to stick with it and train my eye so I'm taking his advice. After 19 rejections and 5 approvals, I'm wondering if I'll ever get it. Either way, I'm hoping to have a fun time.

We all start somewhere! In the beginning I had a lot more rejections... I learned to upload one at a time if I had similar images (model, location, lighting, etc). Then if one was rejected because there was a problem with the model release only one would be rejected, I could fix it, then upload the rest. Same with other images when it came to noise, lighting, visible logos, etc. If I forgot to check for one thing I would only get one reject, then fix the rest, and upload. Saved me time and rejections.

Just wait until you start getting sales! It's always exciting to see what image sold (especially when it's a credit sale)!

Good luck!

Welcome Travis! Don't give up. Pay close attention to your rejections and view your photos at 100% before submitting. You will start to see things in your photos that you've never considered before!

I've already found a few things. I had no idea what the rejections were talking about. After staring at it, I zoomed in and realized what it was I missed. Thankfully, the resubmit got approved once I fixed it. It's always a good feeling seeing an approval. Now I just wonder how long I'll wait before I see a sale. Crossing my fingers and continuing to learn.

Welcome to DT and good luck on your journey.

As others have said, don't give up, learn from the rejections and improve. If you don't understand a rejection, post in the "Positive criticism" forum and get some feedback.
