I have been taking photo,s as i hobby for quite a few years, i currently use a Nikon D300s with a 300mmf4, 70-300mm and an 18-70mm.
I predominantly take images of animals, insects and aviation, but will have a go at other genres.
I Have only been a member now for about a month, and have 5 images accepted with a few more pending. I have been reading as much as i can in the blogs and Msg boards to try and expand my knowledge of stock photography.
This is a whole new experience for me, so i'll keep uploading and see what develops.
Welcome Paul! The Pictures you have already online are really cute - I love them all! But please don't forget to include the latin names in the description and in the keywording! Wish you much success!
Yes, what Dienti mentioned, be sure to use the latin names for animals, insects, etc.
If you want a decent book to read, take a look at "Taking Stock: Make money in microstock creating photos that sell", by Rob Sylvan. I met Rob through the agency he used to work for (mentioned in his book, but he no longer works there). By the time the book came out, I had already been shooting stock for a while, but still found a few pointers in his book.
