Have found 3 of my images on this site, ClipartFest with DT watermarks and instructions to download from DT.(24094449 + 64355378 + 24099891 ) But the images are attributed to a woman from Little Rock in USA. (Mrs Vivian Bennett)
How do I know if this is a DT partner and if it is why wrong name?
No, the link does not goes to our images here. They are downloadable and usable, they even ask to be credited. I've also found at least one image. Do not remember where is the link here on dreamstime to report the site, anyone remembers?
The site is www.clipartfest.com It advertises all images as free, but today I can't get onto the site without a facebook account. I wrote to them about my images but have had no reply. Support: are they a partner?
Quoted Message: Clipartfest is one of many, many sites that offer free downloads, but you will find they only offer the watermarked sample that is already available online. They just link to what is already there.
And of course YouTube have videos that show the public how to remove watermarks!!
Malinesh I can no longer get on to the site past the home page, as I did before, it now seems to require a Facebook account. Today it keeps redirecting me to DT's free image site Stockfreephotos. As I can't reach the site I can't supply URL. Hope you can help.
Quoted Message: Did you also report the site using the report tool?
Hi Malinash, I have contacted them twice through their site and once by email. As the site seems to make its money by advertisements rather than selling images is this still an infringement? The notes at the bottom of the 'report misuse' page are a bit off putting when read with the rather lengthy notes on copyright on the their site.
Heathse, it is still infringement, because they are offering our images for download, it does not matter if they are making money or not (they still are making money by website traffic and eventual clicks on ads).
All your reports have been analyzed, please take into account that we are doing our best to solve them. Sometimes it takes time and insistence to make these sites take down the images they use inappropriately.
