Pictured is a bronze statue of Billy Sims by sculptor Jim Franklin in Heisman Park on the campus of the University of Oklahoma in Norman. Sims was a running back who won the Heisman Trophy in 1978. He played college ball for the University of Oklahoma and was a two-time consensus All-American. He was the first overall pick in the 1980 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the Detroit Lions.
