Facebook v Google Plus Google Plus is experiencing explosive growth, notching up more than 25 million members in just three months, but Facebook (which has more than 750 million members) has now upped the ante. It wants to be the place where you communicate, consume content and express yourself online and experts say these changes go quite some way towards achieving that. The more people use Facebook to tell their stories, consume content and share with friends the less likely they will be to move to Google Plus. Facebook will also be able to use information from Timelines and app activity to better target advertising at people - ultimately making it more relevant for users and earning it more advertising dollars.
One place where Google Plus does have the edge though is in privacy, which is seen as Facebook's Achilles heel and a reason many have quit the site. Features Apple iPhone 4S 5. Privacy image illustrations
