Oradea, The Astoria Hotel. It is a building that hasn`t changed its function in the course of time. The EMKE Hotel after its name in those days was realized by Sztarill Ferenc in 1902 in Jugendstil with gothic impressions. The building has a high ground floor where was arranged a café favorite meeting place of the well known Hungarian poet Ady Endre an eminent person of the literary grouping who managed to type the anthology `A holnap` The next day in 1908.

Bronze door of the Milan Cathedral, Italy. The Duomo di Milano is the cathedral church of the Italian city of Milan, dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente (Saint Mary Nascent) and seat of the Archbishop of Milan, currently Cardinal Angelo Scola. Access to the cathedral is made through five large bronze doors from Piazza Duomo. The Front Door was raised in 1582, but it was not opened until 1908. This door is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and each of their boxes has a biblical chapter that refers to the life of the Virgin.

Brush Mountain schoolhouse winter. This is an image of the old Brush Mountain Schoolhouse located in Hensley Settlement of the Cumberland Gap National Park. This one room schoolhouse served this community from 1908-1947 when the last of its inhabitants walked off the mountain for good. It had no electricity or running water and this old wood burning stove was the only source of heat in the winter months.

Kinzie Street Railroad Bridge - Chicago. The Kinzie Street railroad bridge across the north branch of the Chicago River. At the time of its opening in 1908 it was the world's longest and heaviest bascule bridge. After the Chicago Sun-Times moved their printing plant out of the downtown in 2001, the bridge was raised and left in the open position. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on 12 December 2007.

Klungkung Palace, Bali. The Klungkung Palace is a historical building complex situated in Semarapura, the capital of the Klungkung Regency (kabupaten) on Bali, Indonesia. The palace (puri) was erected at the end of the 17th century, but largely destroyed during the Dutch colonial conquest in 1908. Today the basic remains of the palace are the court of justice, the Kertha Gosa Pavilion, and the main gate that bears the date Saka 1622 (AD 1700). Within the old palace compound is also a floating pavilion, Bale Kambing, which was added in the 1940s. The descendants of the rajas that once ruled Klungkung today live in Puri Agung, a residence to the west of the old palace, which was built after 1929

It commemorates German soldiers who lost their lives in the colonial wars (1903-1907) and during the Kalahari Expedition (1908) in Namibia. Moodna Trestle. The Moodna Viaduct is an iron railroad trestle that spans the Moodna Valley at the north end of Schunemunk Mountain in Beaverdam Lake-Salisbury Mills, New York. The bridge was constructed between 1904 and 1908 by the Erie and Jersey Railroad Line and was opened for train passage in 1909. The trestle spans the valley for 3200 feet (975m) and is 193 feet (59m) tall at its highest point, making it the highest and longest railroad trestle east of the Mississippi River.

Chateau Mercier 01, Sierre, Switzerland. Chateau de Mercier was build in 1908 by the Mercier Family on a hill overlooking the city of Sierre in Valais, Switzerland. In 1991 has been donated to the city of Sierre and now is used as a conferences, seminars and receptions center. The sourounding park is open to the public.
