Patched bikers meeting at Canungra Hotel, Australia after last legal bike run. This is one of the very last photographs taken of the famous annual biker run where the patched gang members all met at the Canungra Hotel, Queensland Australia after the run had finished. Not long after this photograph taken, the Queensland government brought in a new law that it was illegal and against the law for more than one biker to ride together and no bikers could ever wear a patch of their affiliated gang ever again. This photograph is now rare and historic and will never be repeated in Queensland again. This was their yearly bike ride run, that was brought to a stop with the new laws of Queensland. It is a very long-lived species, with recorded lifespans of at least 188 years. These tortoises are classified as critically endangered by the IUCN, mainly because of the destruction of their habitat and because of poaching.Growing to a carapace length of up to 16 in (41 cm) and weighing up to 35 lb (16 kg), the radiated tortoise is considered to be one of the world's most beautiful tortoises.This tortoise has the basic "tortoise" body shape, which consists of the high-domed carapace, a blunt head, and elephantine feet.
