BIO
My photography inspiration stemmed from my love for nature and wildlife. As a late teen I became deeply involved with the care and husbandry of exotic animals, volunteering for many wildlife sanctuaries in Florida. Eventually, I was a licensed handler of many types of exotic wildlife, including venomous snakes, big cats and crocodiles. For a while, I made a living performing wildlife lectures with live animals at many schools and events. I also taught venomous reptile safety and identification. The photography aspect started right around the year 2001 and basically just started to become my proof that my animal stories weren't just made up. After a while, I really started to become involved with photography, paying closer attention to composition, lighting and image quality. Although you won't see very many of my scenic images on stock sites, it is also something that I am very passionate about. I love to get out in nature, sometimes for days on end and just take in everything these locations have to offer. I have a keen interest in anything that has to do with our natural world. Its amazing to see the balance of life when we really start to pay attention.
