Here is the funny part. All the other major four agencies are now weighing and monitoring images of higher commercial value, i.e. separating " apples and oranges" from commercial images, all except DT!!many years back DT used to teach and help new stock-photographers etc but Im afraid today I get the impression that the Admin dont really know what to do, how to deal with a sinking interest and so on. Its become somewhat amateurish and its beginning to show.I dont know if Serban is still here?? but when he was in charge, things got done! and done efficiently! knowledgable! As Murdock2013 say, any uploading is just pointless because new files are never getting any exposure, consequently the same old content springs up on first couple of pages which is what the buyers see all the time. Its been monitored by some agencies and analysts, a buyer will on average search 3 to 4 pages and thats that.
Thats just it! they dont know how to recognize a potential seller nor an image of high commercial value. Blimey! its like first class in grammer school, sigh!!posted in New images needs to be promoted in search!
Oh really sales goes up and down. Great to hear I didnt know that, all this time I thought they were just going up and up. Silly me but its good that a seasoned professional informs us about this. Now back to my pint of lager.posted in over a month with no sales...
